Responsibilities
- Perform onâsite installation, commissioning, and startup of semiconductor equipment according to specifications.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance verification to ensure optimal equipment uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software issues using diagnostic tools and rootâcause analysis techniques.
- Provide technical support and training to customer operators, fostering effective use of equipment.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory of spare parts in compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams to improve equipment design and installation procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment at all customer sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of handsâon experience in installation, maintenance, or service of semiconductor equipment.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong problemâsolving skills with the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction and training.
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally regionally; valid driverâs license required.
- Familiarity with FDC (Fault Detection and Classification) or similar monitoring systems is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is advantageous.
