Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all tenant fit-out works from design submission through to completion and handover.
- Review and approve tenant fit-out drawings, ensuring compliance with mall design guidelines, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to timelines.
- Liaise with mall management, tenants, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, snag lists, and handover certificates.
- Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities for necessary permits and approvals.
- Assist in the development and improvement of fit-out processes and standards for future projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fit-out management, preferably within retail malls or commercial developments.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, fire safety codes, and accessibility standards.
- Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD is a plus).
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
