Responsibilities

  • Manage the restaurant reservation system to ensure optimal table turnover and guest satisfaction.
  • Provide a warm, professional, and efficient welcome to all guests upon arrival.
  • Coordinate with service staff to manage floor flow and address special seating requests.
  • Monitor the dining area to ensure standards of cleanliness, atmosphere, and service are maintained.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with grace and professionalism.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu to assist guests with initial questions.
  • Process incoming phone calls and booking inquiries via email or reservation platforms.
  • Support the restaurant management team with administrative tasks and operational reporting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Levels or equivalent certificate in Hospitality or Tourism.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a front-of-house or guest-service role, preferably in an upscale F&B environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Polished professional appearance and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Proven ability to remain calm and efficient during peak operating hours.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and digital reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms).
