Responsibilities
- Design and detail formwork systems for various structural elements including walls, slabs, and columns.
- Perform structural calculations to ensure safety and stability of formwork under wet concrete loads.
- Prepare comprehensive material estimates and quantity take-offs for formwork projects.
- Supervise the assembly, erection, and dismantling of formwork on-site to ensure compliance with engineering plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality and safety of formwork installations.
- Collaborate with the construction team to resolve site-specific technical challenges and optimize labor productivity.
- Maintain technical documentation, progress reports, and formwork schematics for project audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in formwork design or structural construction engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant structural design software.
- Strong understanding of Philippine Building Codes and occupational health and safety standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced site environment.
