Are you an experienced HSE professional with a passion for safety culture and training delivery? We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance HSE Trainer to join an important project in the energy and mining sector located in Bintuni, West Papua. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing comprehensive safety training modules and delivering immersive, interactive sessions that empower our workforce to maintain the highest standards of operational safety.
As an expert in the field, you will be responsible for translating complex safety regulations and site-specific protocols into actionable, engaging learning experiences. You will ensure that every participant is not only compliant with industry standards but also confident in applying safe work practices on the ground. We are looking for someone who can adapt training styles, manage diverse groups, and provide constructive evaluation to drive continuous improvement in our safety performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update comprehensive HSE training modules tailored to mining and energy industry standards.
- Deliver high-impact, interactive, and immersive training sessions to onsite personnel.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Ensure all training materials comply with current government regulations and company safety policies.
- Collaborate with site management to identify safety training gaps and address specific operational risks.
- Maintain accurate training records and attendance documentation for compliance auditing.
- Provide expert coaching and feedback to participants to improve their safety awareness and behavior.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HSE Trainer or similar role within the Oil & Gas or Mining industry.
- Possess valid HSE certifications (e.g., K3 Umum, K3 Pertambangan, or relevant international equivalents).
- Deep understanding of Indonesian safety laws and international health and safety standards.
- Excellent public speaking, presentation, and instructional design skills.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site in Bintuni, West Papua.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with workers at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
