Full-time ESL Teacher

Breakthrough Academic Institute is excited to invite passionate and student-centered educators to join our team as Full-time ESL Teachers. Based in Bonifacio Global City, Metro Manila, you will deliver high-quality, 1:1 online English lessons that build confidence, fluency, and a love for language. This role emphasizes personalized instruction, modern teaching methods, and ongoing learner growth.

What you’ll do:

• Plan and deliver engaging, goal-oriented 1:1 online lessons tailored to each learner’s needs and level.
• Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and record milestones to guide future instruction.
• Design and adapt materials using interactive tools, multimedia resources, and digital platforms to maximize engagement.
• Set clear expectations, manage time effectively, and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to refine content and ensure alignment with learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records, communicate with learners and, when appropriate, guardians about progress and next steps.
• Uphold professional standards for privacy, safety, and online etiquette in all sessions.
• Continuously reflect on teaching practices and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience teaching English online in a 1:1 setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners, with patience and creativity.
• Proficiency with online teaching tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, LMS).
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace conducive to learning.
• Full-time availability with a commitment to consistent schedule and timely feedback.
