Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality menu items according to standard recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen work station at all times.
- Ensure all food ingredients are stored, labeled, and rotated following food safety protocols.
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including preparation and inventory management.
- Monitor ingredient freshness and assist with routine stock checks.
- Collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Adhere to strict health and safety regulations, including workplace hygiene and equipment safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent in any field (Culinary school graduates are highly preferred).
- Prior experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is a plus but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates.
- Possess a strong work ethic, punctuality, and a deep sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain composure during peak service hours.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Good physical stamina for standing and moving within the kitchen environment for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
