Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative seasonal menus that align with the brand’s concept and market trends.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Manage food cost, inventory, and procurement, ensuring optimal profit margins without compromising quality.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Collaborate with the management team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and respond to feedback professionally.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to minimize wastage while maintaining high-quality outputs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a high-end or boutique hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, international cuisines, and menu engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent understanding of kitchen financials, P&L management, and inventory control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Relevant culinary degree or equivalent professional certifications.
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English is required, with Indonesian language skills considered a significant advantage.
