Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all daily kitchen operations to ensure exceptional food quality and consistency
- Develop and execute innovative menus that align with brand identity and customer preferences
- Manage kitchen staff including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations
- Control food costs through effective inventory management and waste reduction
- Collaborate with management on business strategy, pricing, and seasonal menu planning
- Mentor and develop junior kitchen team members to build a high-performing crew
- Ensure efficient kitchen workflows and proper maintenance of all equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional culinary experience with at least 2 years in a Head Chef or Executive Chef role
- Proven track record managing high-volume kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire
- Deep knowledge of Indonesian and international cuisines with creative flair
- Expertise in food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation standards
- Excellent budget management and cost control abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and special events
- Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written) preferred
