The National University of Singapore (NUS) seeks a visionary leader to head its newly established Integrity Unit. Reporting directly to senior university management, the Head, Integrity Unit will champion a culture of ethics, transparency, and accountability across all campuses and functions.
In this pivotal role, you will design and implement comprehensive integrity frameworks, oversee investigations, and provide guidance on compliance with local regulations and international best practices. You will partner with faculties, administrative departments, and student bodies to promote ethical conduct and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor university-wide integrity policies and procedures.
- Lead investigations into alleged breaches of integrity, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
- Provide expert advice and training to staff, students, and stakeholders on ethics and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with internal audit, legal, and risk management teams to identify and assess integrity risks.
- Represent NUS in external forums, regulatory bodies, and integrity networks.
- Prepare regular reports and metrics for senior leadership and governing bodies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to embed integrity into the university’s culture.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Business, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in integrity, compliance, risk management, or internal audit, preferably in higher education or large public sector organisations.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing integrity frameworks and policies.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s regulatory environment and international standards (e.g., ISO 37001, UNGC).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and change‑management capabilities in complex organisations.
