Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of financial functions, including corporate finance, treasury, accounting, and tax planning.
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts to support long-term business goals.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management reports, statutory financial statements, and board presentations.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and standard operating procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
- Provide strategic insights and financial analysis to support investment decisions, cost optimization initiatives, and business expansions.
- Manage relationship with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee cash flow management, capital expenditure, and working capital requirements to ensure liquidity.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence.
Qualifications
- Possess a Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MIA) and a Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 12-15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, financial modeling, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in advanced ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-evolving environment.
