Responsibilities
- Provide strategic vision and leadership for the School of Hospitality & Tourism Management.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and quality assurance of academic programs.
- Manage the school's budget, resources, and faculty performance to meet institutional KPIs.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry players, hotels, and tourism boards.
- Drive research initiatives and enhance the school’s profile through publications and industry consultancy.
- Ensure compliance with MQA standards and internal quality management systems.
- Promote an inclusive learning environment that emphasizes student engagement and career readiness.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Hospitality, Tourism Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record in academic leadership or management within a tertiary education setting.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality and tourism sector, with relevant industry experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum design and MQA accreditation processes.
- Active researcher with a portfolio of publications in reputable journals.
- Strong network of industry contacts and institutional partnerships.
