Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, interactive online English lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels via video conferencing platforms.
- Prepare and adapt lesson plans and teaching materials to meet individual student needs and learning objectives.
- Provide constructive feedback and progress reports to students and/or parents to support language development.
- Assess students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills and track their improvement over time.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and culturally sensitive classroom atmosphere that fosters student motivation.
- Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and ensure a stable internet connection and functional teaching setup for each class.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Valid TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).
- Native or near-native proficiency in English with clear, neutral pronunciation.
- Prior experience teaching English online or in a classroom setting (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet teaching space, and a computer with a webcam and headset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and age groups.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the Philippines (remote role based in Capas, Tarlac).
