Secret Garden Village, a luxurious resort nestled in the heart of Badung, Bali, is seeking a welcoming and professional Hostess to join our frontâofâhouse team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and memorable arrival experience. As a Hostess, you will greet guests with a genuine smile, manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and provide insightful information about the resortâs facilities and local attractions. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage the reservation system and accurately record guest details.
- Coordinate table and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and comfort.
- Provide information about resort amenities, dining options, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and reception area.
- Assist with coordinating special events and private functions as needed.
- Collaborate with waitstaff, kitchen, and management to ensure smooth service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in a guestâfacing role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Proficiency with reservation and pointâofâsale (POS) systems.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during peak periods.
- Professional appearance and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
