Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor upon arrival at the beach club entrance or reception area.
- Manage the reservation system, seating arrangements, and waitlist to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Escort guests to their tables or sunbeds, ensuring comfort and providing information about facilities, events, and special offers.
- Communicate effectively with waitstaff, kitchen, and management to coordinate service and accommodate special requests.
- Handle guest inquiries, compliments, and complaints promptly and courteously, escalating to supervisors when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess station, entrance area, and guest waiting zones.
- Assist in monitoring guest capacity and enforcing club policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Participate in daily briefings and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a hostess, receptionist, or in a customer-facing role within hospitality (beach clubs, hotels, or restaurants preferred).
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other foreign languages is an advantage.
- Professional appearance with a friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine passion for guest service.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficient in using reservation or point-of-sale systems (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable, or similar).
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, public holidays, and evenings as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus.
