Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure consistent cleanliness standards across all areas
- Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to perform their duties efficiently and professionally
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain quality standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities; coordinate with procurement for restocking needs
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures in alignment with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with front desk and other hotel departments to ensure smooth guest services and quick turnover of rooms
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns related to cleanliness in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare and manage staff work schedules, attendance records, and performance evaluations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in hospitality or hotel management is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Good organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform tasks for extended periods
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
