Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily public area cleaning operations to ensure luxury standards are consistently met.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs and detailed inspections of all public spaces, including lobbies, restrooms, and corridors.
- Manage, train, and mentor housekeeping staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Address guest feedback or maintenance issues immediately to maintain a high level of service.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to resolve structural or equipment issues promptly.
- Create and maintain staff work schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a high-end hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia for effective communication.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, including chemical handling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
