Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of housekeeping attendants to ensure exceptional service delivery and adherence to hotel standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards are consistently met.
- Train and mentor new and existing housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and guest service excellence.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient usage.
- Address guest requests, concerns, and special requirements promptly and professionally, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, including Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues efficiently.
- Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and duty rosters to maximize productivity and maintain service quality.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, fostering a safe working environment for the team and a secure stay for guests.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor or Team Lead role, preferably within a 4-star or luxury hotel environment.
- Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills with the ability to inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting professionally with guests and colleagues.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Malay, Mandarin) is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, equipment, chemicals, and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in a dynamic hotel setting.
- Relevant vocational qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
