Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities for machine vision, computer vision, and imaging solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects to potential clients.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their specific application requirements and design tailored vision system architectures.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, cost analyses, and statements of work.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle, addressing client queries and providing expert guidance.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape in computer vision, deep learning, and industrial automation.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product development, and project teams to ensure successful solution implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or application engineering role, specifically with machine vision, industrial cameras, or imaging systems.
  • Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with computer vision libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV, Halcon, VisionPro, or similar.
  • Familiarity with deep learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for image analysis and object recognition.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into effective, scalable vision solutions.
  • Experience with IIoT platforms, industrial automation, and related communication protocols is highly advantageous.
