Responsibilities
- Lead Process Optimization: Analyze and streamline current operational workflows to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and lead a diverse team of industrial engineers and operational staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term operational strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and market demands.
- Lean & Six Sigma Implementation: Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to achieve measurable cost savings and quality improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to resolve engineering challenges and ensure seamless operations.
- Budget Management: Oversee capital budgets for equipment upgrades, facility layouts, and process automation projects.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and report progress to senior management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an Industrial Engineering or Operations Management role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Location: Must be willing to be stationed in the Singapore region.
