Argo Manunggal Textile is a leading textile and garment manufacturer in Indonesia with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. We are currently seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineering Staff to join our team in Salatiga and contribute to the continuous improvement of our garment production processes.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing workflow, conducting time and motion studies, optimizing plant layouts, and implementing lean manufacturing techniques. Your insights will directly enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure efficient use of resources across our production lines.
Collaborating closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams, you will identify bottlenecks, propose data-driven solutions, and track performance metrics. This position offers a dynamic environment where your engineering expertise will have a tangible impact on operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and productivity in the garment division.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating times and optimize labor utilization.
- Design and optimize plant layouts to ensure smooth material flow and maximize space utilization.
- Identify production bottlenecks and propose corrective actions based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, capacity, and waste reduction.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Support cost reduction projects and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as Industrial Engineering Staff in the garment industry (preferred).
- Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, sewing lines, and finishing operations.
- Proficient in time study, work measurement, and layout design tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, simulation tools).
- Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
