Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing and responsive care to infants aged 2 to 18 months, including feeding, changing, and comforting.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate developmental programs and stimulating activities in both English and Chinese.
- Create a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment conducive to infant exploration and growth.
- Observe, document, and assess infants' progress and developmental milestones.
- Establish and maintain open, effective communication with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and well-being, in both English and Chinese.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to foster a cohesive and supportive centre environment.
- Attend professional development workshops and training sessions to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Possess an ECDA-recognised L2 Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) qualification, such as WSQ Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education - Infant Care (ACECCE-IC) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience working with infants (2-18 months) in a childcare or preschool setting.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate with children and parents.
- Demonstrated passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of infant development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Possess valid First Aid and CPR certification (advantageous).
- Must be able to work at our Bukit Panjang centre.
