The Role
In this critical position, you will be responsible for overseeing all civil and structural aspects of our construction projects. You will act as the primary site representative, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, engineering drawings, regulatory standards, and safety protocols. Your vigilance and attention to detail will directly contribute to the structural integrity and overall success of our developments.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough site inspections of civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Monitor construction progress meticulously, identifying potential issues and documenting site activities in daily reports.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Verify the quality of materials and workmanship on-site, ensuring alignment with contract requirements.
- Carry out testing and commissioning of structural elements as required.
- Prepare and maintain accurate inspection records, non-conformance reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to occupational safety and health regulations on-site.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience as an Inspector of Works or in construction supervision.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or relevant professional body is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles and construction methods.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with project management software.
- Possess own transport and willing to be based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
