Responsibilities
- Create detailed construction drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections for residential interior projects
- Develop comprehensive material specifications and finish schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure documentation accuracy
- Prepare permit applications and compliance documentation as required by local authorities
- Maintain and organize project files, drawing revisions, and specifications libraries
- Review shop drawings and submittals against original design specifications
- Conduct site visits to verify construction progress and address documentation queries
- Assist in the development of standard documentation templates and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction documentation for interior design projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and material specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
- Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Experience working on residential projects is highly preferred
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus
