As an Interior Designer with I.Poise, you will collaborate with clients, project managers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget, while upholding the studio's design standards and brand story. Responsibilities
- Lead concept development and design of luxury interiors for residential and boutique commercial projects, ensuring clients' vision is delivered with quality and precision.
- Produce schematic designs, detailed drawings, elevations, floor plans, mood boards, and material palettes; coordinate with contractors and suppliers to realise design intent.
- Oversee space planning to optimize function, circulation, and ergonomics in line with client brief and budget.
- Prepare and present design proposals, 3D renderings, lighting concepts, and finish schedules to clients for sign-off.
- Manage project timelines, procurement, vendor coordination, and budget tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits, monitor construction progress, and address design and fabrication challenges with the team.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and artisans to ensure quality control and accurate documentation from concept to completion.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; Singapore market experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in luxury interior design or related sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D rendering tools (e.g., V-Ray or Lumion); strong CAD and drawing skills.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, detailing, and execution of high-end interiors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local regulations, building codes, and procurement processes in Singapore is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
