Job Description

Aladdin Technology Solutions is currently seeking dedicated and highly motivated IT professionals to join our technical operations team in Kemayoran, Jakarta. As an IT Operator and Support specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and availability of our mainframe environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for real-time monitoring of job schedulers and providing technical support to ensure seamless enterprise-level operations. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a solid foundation in system monitoring. Whether you are an experienced Operator or an aspiring Shift Leader, this position offers the opportunity to work with robust infrastructure and grow your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Perform real-time monitoring of mainframe job schedulers to ensure zero-downtime performance.
  • Execute daily operational tasks, batch processing, and system maintenance routines.
  • Provide immediate technical support and incident response for system alerts or processing failures.
  • Maintain detailed operational logs and report system irregularities to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical bottlenecks.
  • For Shift Leader candidates: Oversee team performance, delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with operational SOPs.
  • Perform routine health checks and performance reporting for the mainframe ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an IT Operator, System Operator, or related support role.
  • Strong understanding of Mainframe environment monitoring and job scheduling software.
  • Ability to work in a rotating shift schedule (including nights and weekends).
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good analytical skills with a proactive approach to system issue resolution.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead team operations (for Shift Leader applicants).
