Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware/software issues
- Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, connectivity problems, and application errors
- Manage incident tickets using IT service management tools with timely escalation protocols
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices
- Document technical solutions and create knowledge base articles for future reference
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on complex issues and system improvements
- Conduct user training on IT systems and best practices
- Monitor system performance and report potential security concerns
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1-2 years in IT support/service desk role
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and network connectivity
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar)
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, VPN configurations, and cloud services
