Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline IT support to students, teachers, and staff via in person, email, and ticketing system.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, projectors, and classroom devices; ensure devices are up to date.
  • Manage user accounts and access rights, reset passwords, and support Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and other school software.
  • Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, office productivity software, network connectivity, and peripheral devices; escalate as needed.
  • Document issues, track tickets, and ensure timely resolution; monitor service levels and report recurring problems.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, manage warranties, coordinate with vendors, and assist with device lifecycle management.
  • Support events and classrooms during lessons or school functions by configuring equipment and ensuring reliable connectivity.
  • Adhere to cybersecurity best practices, data privacy policies, and back-up procedures to protect student and staff information.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 1-3 years of IT support experience, preferably in an educational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common productivity software; familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
  • Basic networking knowledge, printers, and audiovisual equipment; ability to troubleshoot hardware issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy under pressure; willingness to work on-site at the school and support after-hours events if required.
  • Commitment to data privacy, confidentiality, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Fluency in Indonesian; English proficiency is a plus.
