Reporting directly to the Head of the Platform & Intelligence Department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the backbone of our digital infrastructure.
As an IT & Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our corporate systems, networking infrastructure, and server environments. We are looking for someone who is not just a technical expert but also a proactive problem-solver capable of managing complex IT projects that support our long-term business goals. Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain daily operations of corporate IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems.
- Provide technical support to team members, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
- Implement and manage robust security protocols, including firewalls, data backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Administer cloud-based services and platform integrations to ensure high availability and performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT assets, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the Platform & Intelligence Department to roll out new technologies and system upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in systems administration, network engineering, or a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in network security, routing, switching, and VPN management.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
