Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and receivable data.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports to track business performance.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies to maintain ledger accuracy.
- Support the senior accounting team in preparing tax compliance documents, including VAT and local income tax filings.
- Manage petty cash records and ensure all operational expenses are properly documented and authorized.
- Assist during internal and external audit processes by providing necessary financial documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles (PSAK) and Indonesian tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or Accurate.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- A proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new financial systems.
