Responsibilities
- Perform precision assembly of components and sub-assemblies according to technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks to ensure products meet required standards and specifications.
- Operate and maintain basic hand tools and relevant production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in troubleshooting minor assembly issues and report defects to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Document assembly processes, completed tasks, and any deviations encountered.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize production flow and quality.
Qualifications
- Nitec or Diploma in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
- Strong manual dexterity, good eyesight, and excellent attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to follow instructions diligently.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
