Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in machinery, minimizing downtime.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, including wiring, control panels, and sensor interfaces.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and technical documentation.
- Support senior engineers in project planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance principles and safety practices.
- Familiarity with electrical circuits, motor controls, and electronic components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a detail‑oriented mindset.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in a shift‑based or 5‑day schedule as required.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and documentation (MS Office, CMMS).
