Private Advertiser, a leading hospitality establishment in Tambun Selatan, Jawa Barat, is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Barista to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Junior Barista, you will be an integral part of our coffee operations, responsible for delivering high-quality beverages while ensuring exceptional customer service in every interaction.
Your primary duties will include preparing a wide range of coffee and espresso-based drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and mochas; performing milk steaming and latte art; maintaining cleanliness of the coffee bar and equipment; and assisting with inventory management. You will also handle cash and card payments, answer customer inquiries, and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
We are looking for candidates with at least 6 months of barista experience or a formal barista certification from a recognized institution. You should possess strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages according to standard recipes
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision
- Create latte art and ensure attractive presentation of all drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and handle cash or card transactions
- Manage inventory levels and notify management of low stock
- Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a barista or completion of a barista certification course
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting profiles, and brewing methods
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods
