Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, personalized service to all guests, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations in a luxury dining setting.
- Assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, including table management, seating, and reservation handling.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate, with in-depth menu knowledge.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to Four Seasons' high standards of presentation and service protocols.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, wine lists, and beverage offerings.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints gracefully and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the restaurant area.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end hospitality environment.
- A strong passion for the food and beverage industry and delivering outstanding guest service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse guests and team members.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation, reflecting the Four Seasons brand standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by business needs.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic restaurant operations is a plus.
