Join L & K Engineering as a Junior Design / Project Mechanical Engineer and contribute to the advancement of the semiconductor industry. We are seeking a motivated engineer to support our construction projects in Woodlands. In this role, you will assist in the planning, design, and supervision of critical mechanical infrastructure for high-tech fabrication facilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or junior professional to gain specialized experience in cleanroom construction and high-purity engineering systems. You will work closely with senior engineers and project teams to ensure the delivery of projects that meet the highest technical standards and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and drafting of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve on-site technical issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects and electrical engineers, to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, inspection logs, and project documentation.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and industry codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant internship experience or a strong academic background in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Understanding of semiconductor facility requirements, cleanroom standards, and process equipment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot engineering problems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
