As a Junior Electrical Engineer at SDMK, you will be involved in all stages of electrical projects – from concept design and analysis to implementation and site support. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the design of electrical systems, performing site inspections, troubleshooting issues, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring that all work meets quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components for various projects
- Conduct site inspections, troubleshooting, and provide technical support during installation
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports
- Coordinate with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely delivery
- Perform testing and commissioning of electrical equipment
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Support maintenance and upgrade of existing electrical systems
- Document project progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 0–1 year of experience in electrical engineering (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Basic understanding of electrical design principles and software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites
