Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software.
- Interpret architectural sketches, specifications, and design intent to create detailed construction documents.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure drawings comply with project standards and local building codes.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients.
- Maintain an organized drawing library and ensure proper version control.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials, including renderings and layout sheets for client meetings.
- Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in drafting and BIM.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit, SketchUp, or BIM tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and building regulations.
- Excellent visualisation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
- Good timeâmanagement skills with the capacity to meet project deadlines.
- Prior experience in an architectural or design firm is advantageous but not required for junior candidates.
