BrightPath Learning is seeking a dedicated K-12 Teacher to join our NYC campus. You will foster a love of learning, design engaging lessons, and support students' academic and social-emotional growth within an inclusive, data-driven environment.
This role offers collaborative planning time, ongoing professional development, and opportunities to influence curriculum and assessment practices across grade levels.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver standards-based instruction across K-12 as assigned.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and modalities.
- Use data to inform instructional decisions and monitor student progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and families to support student success.
- Integrate technology and project-based learning to enhance student engagement.
- Maintain accurate records, assess student work, and provide timely feedback to students and families.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; New York State teaching certificate preferred or eligible to obtain.
- 2+ years of classroom teaching experience preferred; strong foundation in K-12 education.
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction and meet diverse learner needs.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Experience with inclusive practices and culturally responsive pedagogy.
- Proficiency with educational technology, data-driven instruction, and assessment design.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage families in the learning process.
