Responsibilities
- Plan and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that align with both academic standards and Islamic curriculum requirements.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and social-emotional growth.
- Observe and document student progress, providing regular feedback to parents regarding developmental milestones.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to organize school events, workshops, and community activities.
- Implement positive behavior management strategies to support student discipline and personal development.
- Maintain classroom resources and ensure a clean, organized, and inviting learning space.
- Participate in regular professional development sessions to stay updated with modern early childhood education practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE) or equivalent certifications recognized by ECDA.
- Strong command of English and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated passion for early childhood education and a commitment to integrating Islamic values into daily teaching.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to children.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative educational team.
- Prior experience in a kindergarten or nursery setting is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in basic digital tools for classroom administration and lesson planning.
