Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure food quality, presentation, and preparation standards are met.
  • Manage P&L performance, including food cost control, waste reduction, and labor management.
  • Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff to foster a culture of professional growth and performance.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Analyze inventory levels and manage procurement processes with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the management team to execute menu rollouts and seasonal promotions.
  • Maintain equipment maintenance schedules and ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef role within a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Strong background in culinary operations and P&L management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of team development and retention.
  • Deep understanding of food safety standards (HACCP) and kitchen sanitation protocols.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
  • Culinary degree or relevant hospitality management certification is highly preferred.
