Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure food quality, presentation, and preparation standards are met.
- Manage P&L performance, including food cost control, waste reduction, and labor management.
- Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff to foster a culture of professional growth and performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Analyze inventory levels and manage procurement processes with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with the management team to execute menu rollouts and seasonal promotions.
- Maintain equipment maintenance schedules and ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef role within a high-volume restaurant setting.
- Strong background in culinary operations and P&L management.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of team development and retention.
- Deep understanding of food safety standards (HACCP) and kitchen sanitation protocols.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
- Culinary degree or relevant hospitality management certification is highly preferred.
