Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of critical electrical power systems.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of M&E projects, from design review to final commissioning and handover.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure full compliance with Singapore’s electrical codes and safety standards (SS638, etc.).
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance system efficiency.
- Lead a team of technical staff and vendors, providing mentorship and driving high standards of operational excellence.
- Manage electrical documentation, single-line diagrams, and facility system logs to ensure accuracy and traceability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional facility management teams to plan energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in M&E facilities management, building services, or industrial electrical systems.
- Strong technical expertise in High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) power systems, switchgear, transformers, and UPS.
- Possession of a Singapore Professional Engineer (PE) license or LEW (Licensed Electrical Worker) certification is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record in project management and vendor coordination within high-tech or critical environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead onsite technical teams and report to stakeholders.
- High proficiency in CAD software and building management systems (BMS).
