In this critical role, you will be the primary technical authority for electrical infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and system reliability.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining equipment uptime through advanced troubleshooting and systematic repairs. Beyond hands-on technical work, you will lead external vendor relationships, ensuring that third-party service providers meet strict performance KPIs and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily electrical maintenance activities, ensuring all equipment operates at peak performance.
- Perform complex troubleshooting for electrical equipment breakdowns, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Manage and supervise third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and safety protocols.
- Execute proactive preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
- Monitor and ensure all electrical operations adhere to local safety regulations and international industry standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, maintenance logs, and technical reports for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance or facility engineering.
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting industrial control systems, switchgears, and power distribution systems.
- Proven experience in vendor management and project coordination.
- Ability to interpret complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and external partners effectively.
- Knowledge of Singapore safety regulations and standards (e.g., SS638/CP5).
