Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and securing suitable tenants for mall retail spaces through proactive market research and lead generation
- Prepare and present compelling leasing proposals to prospective tenants, highlighting property advantages and strategic benefits
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging retail trends and competitive positioning opportunities
- Negotiate lease terms, incentives, and contractual agreements to meet leasing targets while maintaining portfolio standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential tenants to ensure high occupancy rates
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create tenant promotions and enhance mall foot traffic
- Monitor leasing performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail leasing, property management, or commercial real estate
- Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to close complex lease agreements
- Deep understanding of retail market dynamics and tenant mix optimization strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and property management software
- Results-oriented mindset with ability to work independently and meet KPIs
- Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous
