Responsibilities

  • Provide legal counsel to the management team regarding business operations, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various types of corporate agreements, including commercial, vendor, and mining-specific contracts.
  • Ensure full compliance with Indonesian mining laws, environmental regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze updates in mining legislation to provide proactive legal advice and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage corporate licensing, permits, and documentation to ensure seamless operational continuity.
  • Represent the company in legal negotiations, dispute resolutions, and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Maintain internal legal databases and ensure all statutory filings are accurate and submitted on time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law from an accredited university with a strong academic background.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the mining or extractive industry.
  • Must possess a valid PERADI license (Advocate license).
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian Corporate Law and Mining Law (Undang-Undang Pertambangan).
  • Proven ability to draft complex legal documents and provide clear, actionable legal advice.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
