Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients presenting with a variety of mental health concerns.
- Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Psychodynamic therapy.
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, case managers, and medical providers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
- Participate in clinical supervision and professional development activities to continuously enhance clinical skills.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current, active New York State license (LCSW, LPC, or LMHC).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Strong foundation in clinical diagnosis (DSM-5) and treatment planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
