Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
- Execute advanced clinical interventions and monitor patient responses in real-time to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Maintain meticulous electronic health records (EHR) in strict compliance with HIPAA standards and hospital protocols.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and evidence-based health education to patients and their families.
- Lead bedside shift reports and participate in clinical rounds to maintain the highest standards of safety and care.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred.
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications via the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and maintain composure in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
