Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive lighting solutions tailored to architectural requirements and client needs
- Perform detailed technical analysis of lighting systems, including energy efficiency calculations
- Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and Budget Allocation Reports (RAB) for projects
- Develop persuasive client presentations showcasing lighting designs and technical specifications
- Collaborate with sales teams to align lighting solutions with project budgets and timelines
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate lighting installation feasibility and requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging lighting technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Lighting Design
- Minimum 3 years of experience in lighting design or pre-sales engineering
- Proficiency in lighting design software (DIALux, Relux, AutoCAD)
- Strong technical knowledge of lighting products, controls, and energy efficiency standards
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with client-facing experience
- Ability to create detailed BoQ/RAB documents and cost estimates
- Problem-solving skills for technical design challenges
