Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Seasalt's established recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for each service shift.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all food products to minimize waste and guarantee freshness.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, strictly adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries for quality and quantity.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in daily line checks, prep lists, and kitchen cleaning duties.
- Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a Line Cook or Commis in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Culinary degree or relevant vocational training is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures (HACCP).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent knife skills and a keen eye for detail and plate presentation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Must be a resident of Makati or willing to relocate.
