Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Seasalt's recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure the freshness and proper handling of all seafood and ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work station in compliance with HACCP and safety regulations.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating inventory to minimize waste and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team during service to ensure timely and accurate execution of orders.
- Set up and break down the station before and after service.
- Participate in menu development and special event preparations as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including uniform and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Culinary degree from a recognized institution or equivalent professional work experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in seafood preparation and cooking.
- Excellent knife skills and a solid understanding of basic cooking techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Must be willing to work in Landmark Makati and hold relevant Philippine work documentation.
