Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests upon arrival with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Escort VIP guests, dignitaries, and guests requiring special assistance to their rooms or designated areas with personalized attention.
- Coordinate luggage handling, valet services, and lobby traffic to ensure smooth guest flow and minimal wait times.
- Anticipate guest needs by proactively offering information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
- Collaborate with front desk, concierge, and security teams to resolve any guest concerns or requests promptly.
- Monitor lobby ambiance, including cleanliness, lighting, and music, to maintain a welcoming environment.
- Assist with special events, check-in/out procedures, and guest relations as needed.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of hotel promotions, upcoming events, and VIP arrivals to deliver tailored service.
Qualifications
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in a hotel or luxury service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with diverse guests.
- Professional grooming and poise; must present a polished, approachable image at all times.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest complaints with tact and diplomacy.
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and shifts as needed.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) is desirable but not required.
